Just ordered GP-Werks Stage 2 S/C Kit on it's way. Opted for the Tuned kit (using Dynotronics reflash via Mazda Edit).http://gp-werks.com/products/mazda-3-rotrex-supercharger-kit-tuning-included-2004-05-2-dot-3l-stage-2 Very excited. Will use thread to keep track and answer questions while installing and using.

It comes with a Rotrex Self-Contained Oiling System which houses the Rotrex Traction Fluid needed to make the planetary friction drive work. Has a pump, reservoir, and cooler. Fairly compact from what i see and hear. http://www.rotrex.com/Home/Technology

Some notes below I jotted down while talking to Richard at GP-Werks while making my order.

Comes with Base tune on handheld tuner from Dynotronics - will be able to tune back and forth with DynoTronics via email to get tune just right

Will need a compressor for priming oil system for Rotrex (which i have available)

I can run the car without supercharger I just replace the belt with stock to run it N/A while tuning if i want. (Don't suspect I will need to)

Pictures found posted by GP-Werks about this kit from their website and a separate Mazda 3 Supercharger Testing in Final Stages pics Inside.

I will make sure to update as I install it and get the tune just right. Very excited should be a great improvement. And retain all factory emissions equipment, no exhaust mods, no tapping oil pan. Reliability and drive-ability is the plan/reason for purchase. Thanks to Richard at GP-Werks to help me get this ordered and on the road to being at my door.

Hypertech? if so it is just an power programmer works with most mazda 3 models who have not had i.e. a turbo/supercharger added or a turbo upgrade if mazdaspeed3. I will remove the hypertech tune and monzta timing advance before tuning/installing supercharger.

Currently my car has a hypertech programmer tune installed (basically a preset tune from hypertech loaded via handheld tuner).

When installing the supercharger kit i will have to remove the hypertech tune and monzta timing advance before tuning/installing supercharger which will be tuned using a Dynotronics kit to reflash the factory ECU through my laptop, reflash tool, and mazdaedit (provided by dynotronics along with remote tuning service) Dynotronics Tuning - ECU Tuning | Flashing | Remapping | Chip Tuning | From Mazda to Kawasaki and More

I am being very patient this is not a mod that I want to rush anyhow. In hindsight I was thinking I needed to wait 1 year before getting this kit ordered anyway but, something came by me and made this available so I am happy either way.

After the kit is shipped and in, I will miss being able to full throttle on the street in low gears w/o traction issues.... or will I???

So far my interactions with Richard have been progressive I get updates every so often I believe that they are a busy business and this shows that. If you take that into consideration all is going smoothly should end up with very quality US made parts.
